Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues the third person fantasy RPG that combines a single player narrative with a sandbox MMO, gets closer to its release date.
While the Truth, Love and Courage game paths are playable, the dev team moved its attention to the finale part of the plot, aka Path of the Oracle. Portalarium’s intention is to release the game during the summer, so time is not their ally.
“One of the crucial scenes of that path is the Oracle Colossus. This is of course the famous depiction of the Oracle from the concept painting by Stephen Daniele inspired by passages from The Sword of Midras prequel novel by Tracy Hickman. This scene was built as a placeholder and is now being polished into a final state.” A bunch of spoiler images reveal the dev’s progress on the Oracle Colossus area.
Moreover, in case you didn’t know, Shroud of the Avatar is currently testing its free trial program until the end of May, so everyone can check out the game.
