As 2016 comes to the end, Daybreak reveals its plans for EverQuest and EverQuest 2 in the year to come. Holly “Windstalker” Longdale reports that the work on the next year’s expansion has already begun.
The dev’s team talks about a possible rule sets for a new progression server, which could be released in mid-2017. Quarm, the first experiment with an event server is another project that will be developed and discussed in 2017. Daybreak also takes into consideration options for improving the in-game quality of life which will probably occur sometime in January 2017.
Meanwhile, the younger brother, EverQuest 2, will receive a very cool concept with its next expansion. The Race to Trakanon server, the first experiment with an event server will evolve in the year to come. Also, Daybreak intends to release a content update in the next few months.
